Diversity Rocks FAQ's
How do I post pictures my pictures on the Diversity Rocks page?
Please send us an email to: We will have them up in a jiffy.
Why the hashtag, #TheDiversityRocksProject?
A Hashtags turns topics and phrases into clickable links in your posts on your personal Timeline or Page. This helps people find posts about topics they’re interested in. To make a hashtag, write # (the number sign) along with TheDiversityRocksProject and add it to your post (and the back of your rock). When you click a hashtag, you’ll see a feed of posts that include that hashtag. You may also see some related hashtags at the top of the page.
What is The Diversity Projects goal?
Great Question, please read "The Story” page…Our goal is simple, spread the message that diversity is what makes the world special, whether it be in small towns, books, movies and in our acceptance of others. We believe it is the first step in creating a better world.
Does it cost anything to join you?
Nope, not a dime, this is a movement not a business. Your only expense is your own art supplies and some creative time.
Where can I find rocks?
Rocks can be purchased at your local home improvement store or garden center, or be sure to check out Amazon prime for free shipping (because rocks are heavy) and search for the 3” to 5” river rocks for landscaping, as they are typically smooth, the white ones are great, but they come in an array of colors. I also recently found some beautiful ones on sale at my local Michael’s Craft Store!
How do I paint a rock?
Check out our “How to” page. All the details are there on the few supplies you may need.
Can I start my own Diversity Rocks Project?
We are so happy that we have inspired you, however when one deviates from the project and creates their own page, the ultimate goal of inspiring many through the power of connection is weakened. Together we are more powerful than alone. Each and every member powers this project and that’s pretty awesome, so why not join us.
